Winter Music Entry:
Its nearly winter, according to the calendar, but its been snowing on and off since this past Saturday, so as far as I am concerned it is winter- well, winter enough, its close enough for me to assemble my essential winter music list, winter is my favorite season, I always feel at my most creative during this time of year, it is also a surreal time for me, I don’t know why, I can’t explain why, I just feel different during this time of year. This list took me awhile to compile, there are many albums I consider to have a winter element to them, these are my personal favorites, I tend to listen to these ones a lot during this time, this was a fun and challenging list to put together.
And also, as per usual, I included mentioning my 3 favorite songs from each album.

This is a personal entry: Music has always meant the world to me, lately I’ve been lost in thought about certain albums, songs, memories that have defined what my teen years were like, I haven’t really thought much about my teen years in awhile, but I recently started thinking about all of the memories, the good and bad, and how the music was always there, from moving around place to place, feeling lost, in search of myself, finding art, finding an escape, the music was always there, through and through, always there. I wanted to just sit here for awhile and put together a list of albums that I found my way to during those times, I love all these albums, they all have a story to tell, a memory to share. So, as usual, I’ve included my 3 favorite songs from each album on this list. So here is part one of two entries, I found my way to these albums between age 13 to 19, 1997 to 2004, this list has taken me a very long time to compile, so many memories.

Summer Music Entry:
So, its summer around here, as much as I don’t want to acknowledge it, haha. I’m more a fall & winter kind of guy. I am not a big fan of humid weather, but one thing I do like in the summer is listening to certain songs and albums that bring back good memories and ones that create new ones. I figured why not make a music geek entry sharing my favorite music that I tend to play more around this time of year than any other time, these are my ‘summer’ songs/albums, although I do enjoy these all year round its just that they take on a different meaning around this time for me. There is no theme to this music entry other than these are albums I really enjoy during the summer. So, these albums range from punk to metal to alternative to folk to whatever.
